This 18-year-old Speyside (M) 2005 was bottled from a first fill Oloroso sherry butt that yielded 665 bottles at its poky natural cask strength of 57.4%. This famous Edrington distillery built its reputation on top quality sherried 18-year-olds in the 1980s and 1990s – we’d wager this full strength 18-year-old single cask from Signatory would put most current official bottlings from “Speyside (M)” in the shade.
