The Story
Dolcetto grown on Barolo's Tortonian soils gives a much more structured and serious expression than one would normally expect. It is nevertheless an awesome wine to dive into young while you wait for Alberto's Barolo's to age. It is nevertheless structured enough to develop nicely over 3-5 years itself! Bright, intense purplish red colour, find notes of blackberry, blueberry, ripe red table grapes, and black cherry. Medium-bodied and well-balanced. A beautiful example of the "little sweetie," as it translates!
