Some single malts shout. This one never has to. Created using a combination of first, second and re-fill Oloroso casks, the 2025 Edition of the 12 Year Old Cask Strength brings layered complexity, not overwhelming intensity. Expect balance, delicate sherry and unfiltered, uncompromised, unmistakably Bunnahabhain character. The sherry influence is delicate, never dominant, allowing the unpeated Islay spirit to express itself fully. You'll find notes of dried fruit, hazelnut, light tobacco and soft brine.
NOSE - Golden raisins and apricots are balanced with toasted nuts and a light floral note.
PALATE - Malty sweetness, soft oak, and dried fruit intertwine with sultanas, hazelnuts, and gentle spice.
FINISH - Oak spice and light tobacco, with a gentle touch of sea salt and cocoa powder.
