Moulin d’Issan 2019 shows an expressive and crunchy red fruit character with a deep color.
The finish is very well balanced ended with fine tannins.
Moulin d'Issan comes from a segment of the d'Issan estate that are closest to the Gironde, with mainly clayey/limestone soil and not part of the Margaux nor the Médoc appellation, where the Merlot grape excels. The assemblage is 90% Merlot + 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is an elegant wine, with beautiful notes of incense and violets. Nice juicy palate full of plums.
