The Story
Located in the picturesque commune of Saint-Pierre-de-Mons, Château Les Clauzots has been managed by the Tach family for five generations. The estate's white wines are grown on cool clay-sandy soils, which impart a distinct freshness and minerality. The winemaking process involves a unique cold liquid stabilization for one week before fermentation, followed by 6 to 8 months of aging on fine lees to gain texture and "unctuosity". The result is an explosive aromatic profile featuring citrus, white peach, and exotic fruits like mango, balanced by a sharp, persistent tension on the palate.
