Textured, deep, and concentrated palate, ample black fruit and dried herbs, evolving to sweet spice, nutmeg, star anise, and coriander seeds. Nicely integrated oak spice, a fine balance of acid and tannins, but retaining its freshness, with lots of potential for aging.
High quality, well marbled, beef steak. A Béarnaise sauce and salty fries would be the perfect accompaniment. Also excellent with cheese with a nutty flavour, think Manchego.
