Decadent Drams Cognac Hors d'Age

This is Decadent Drinks' attempt at something of a more 'traditional' Cognac bottling. It was created using Cognacs from the Petite and Grand Champagne terroirs (hence 'Fine Champagne), with the youngest components hailing from the late 1980s and the oldest going back, via the 1970s, to the early 1960s. The resulting small-batch assemblage was bottled at natural marrying strength as our version of a 'Hors d'Age' Cognac. It is lusciously fruity, with clear notes of honeys, flowers, tobacco and a balance of rancio notes with subtle woody undertones that add a little weight. Beautiful, old Cognac for contemplative sipping in your slippers and dressing gown, in other words.
