Made at Glen Grant distillery in 1965, this Speyside single malt has been matured in a single sherry hogshead for 54 years, before being bottled in March 2019 by independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail, as a part of its Private Collection.
A basket laden with windfall apples. Aromas of clementine and vibrant orange sit upon intense polished oak. Touches of vanilla begin to come through with flashes of nutmeg and cinnamon. Sweetness working in harmony with dashes of white pepper. Delicate herbal elements remain. Slowly fading into eucalyptus.
