This is an incredibly rare Sherry Cask Single Grain Whisky crafted from an unlikely marriage of European oak and Girvan grain. With a deep and intense character drawn from 53 years in best quality European oak this is today almost unrecognisable as grain whisky but with a delicious underlying richness that reveals its roots. 

  • Matured for over half a century in a single Sherry Cask.
  • Offered at a natural cask strength.
  • Free from added colour.
  • Non-chill filtered.
  • Packaged in a hand-engraved, individually numbered decanter with ash display box featuring gold leaf inlay.

Nose

Rich, decadent and intense with a resinous quality and dried fruits on the nose. 

Palate

Roasted coffee and Muscovado toffee notes follow on the palate. An exceptional, highly unusual release with a character reminiscent of greatly aged malt whisky.
