The Story
The 2020 harvest was marked by extreme weather conditions, typical of the Ribera del Duero region. Spring frosts significantly reduced the number of fruit buds and subsequently the yield. Winter rains were sufficient to maintain adequate moisture levels for the vines during a dry spring and summer.
Some rain during the final ripening period has helped the grapes develop properly, and above all, has maintained their acidity and aromatic intensity, without any health problems. The harvest begins on September 28th, when the grapes are fully ripe.
