The Story
Tua Rita Perlato del Bosco Rosso is a distinctive and elegant red wine that highlights the estate's mastery of indigenous Italian varieties. Unlike the Bordeaux-inspired flagships of the winery, this expression is crafted from 100% Sangiovese, sourced from the mineral-rich, clay-stony soils of the Suvereto hills. It is matured for approximately 12 to 15 months in second and third-passage French oak barriques, a process designed to respect the purity of the fruit while providing a refined structural foundation.
On the nose, it offers a vibrant and complex bouquet of wild cherries, raspberries, and red currants, accented by sophisticated notes of dried herbs, leather, and forest floor. The palate is medium-bodied and beautifully structured, showcasing a bright acidity and firm, fine-grained tannins that are characteristic of high-quality Sangiovese. It features the signature ferrous minerality and balsamic undertones of the Maremma coast, leading to a long, savory, and remarkably elegant finish.
