WhistlePig The Boss Hog XI Juggernaut

For this 2024 release, WhistlePig's blenders looked to Rajasthan, India, finishing their oldest straight rye in the world's first-ever Thandai barrels. These custom casks were seasoned with an exotic, aromatic blend of saffron, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, fennel, poppy seed, and black peppercorn. Bottled at barrel strength, the resulting whiskey is wildly complex and unctuous, opening with heavy aromas of smoldering incense and traditional Indian spices that give way to a palate loaded with overripe orchard fruit, sweet tropical notes, and a massive, lingering floral-spice finish. Crowned with a handmade pewter pig stopper styled as a majestic Indian elephant, it is an opulent and highly experimental collector's piece.
