The Story

This wine exhibits a deep, dense crimson colour with bright scarlet clarity at the rim. The sensory profile is powerful and luxurious, offering a bouquet of dark plum, blackberry, and red berries intertwined with musky florals, mocha, and sweet baking spices like cinnamon and clove. On the palate, it is full bodied and opulent, featuring concentrated black fruit, dark chocolate, and espresso. The structure is defined by velvety fruit tannins and fine grained French oak, balanced by vibrant acidity and a long, savoury, mineral finish.

A deep tarry and meaty shiraz that’s full-bodied with dense blackberry fruit. In spite of the huge scale this is well balanced on the front and mid-palates, the wood tannins currently making the finish a bit chewy. However, they should soften with a bit more bottle age. Drinkable now, but best from 2024. Screw cap.
