The blend includes straight peated malt, straight unpeated malt, sherry cask-finished malt, secondary-aged malt, and a highly unique roasted malt sourced within 30 miles of the distillery. Bottled at a robust 107 proof (53.5% ABV) with a total outturn of just 1,401 bottles, it delivers a wildly complex, rich, and brilliantly balanced tasting experience that completely rivals some of the best peated Scotches on the market.
NOSE
Rich and highly inviting with complex aromas of pine nuts, sweet maple syrup, charred oak, black cherry, and a gentle wisp of campfire smoke.
PALATE
Thick, viscous, and flawlessly balanced. Lush flavors of stewed apple, salted caramel, and toasted almonds are perfectly layered over old leather, tart plum, and an elegant, earthy peat smoke.
FINISH
Medium-long, warm, and highly satisfying with a lingering trail of sweet caramel, dark fruit, baking spices, and soft campfire smoke.
