An incredibly rare, floral "fruit bomb" from the legendary St. George Spirits in Alameda, California! This single cask (#10) was distilled on a pot still and aged for nearly four years in new American oak. St. George is famous for their eccentric, high-ester malts, and this cask is no exception. Bottled at a cask strength of 106.7 proof (53.35% ABV), only 215 bottles were produced. It is widely considered one of the most unusual and captivating American single malts ever released, trading traditional wood notes for a profile that feels more like a bright, tropical white wine or an aromatic gin.
NOSE
Bright, floral, and "perfumey." Intense notes of lemon curd, green apple, white flowers, and fresh linen.
PALATE
Oily and heavy-bodied. Unique flavors of orange blossom honey, jasmine tea, and grassy spice are supported by a soft hint of baking spice.
FINISH
Long and buttery with a decadent fade of vanilla bean and lemon custard.
