A fantastic revival of a historic classic! During the 1970s and 80s, Michter's Original Sour Mash was the distillery's single most popular product. It utilizes a highly unique mash bill that doesn't legally qualify as either a rye or a bourbon, but rather sits beautifully right in the middle of the flavor spectrum. Bottled at 86 proof, it offers the sweet, deep caramel and vanilla notes of a great bourbon seamlessly combined with the rich, warming spice of a classic rye.
