A decadent, estate-grown "sweet mash" bourbon that beautifully captures the essence of the Huber family farm! This limited-edition single barrel release starts with Starlight’s signature straight bourbon, distilled in copper pot stills and aged for a minimum of four years in new charred American oak. The whiskey is then transferred into barrels that previously held rich, local Indiana maple syrup for a secondary maturation of 3 to 8 months. Bottled at cask strength (typically between 110 and 115 proof), it offers a remarkably thick, velvety texture where the earthy, wood-fired sweetness of the maple perfectly complements the spicy rye and toasted oak of the base bourbon.
NOSE
Densely sweet and highly inviting. Rich aromas of dark brown sugar, maple butter, and toasted pecans are balanced by a sophisticated layer of tobacco leaf, sweet tea, and seasoned oak.
PALATE
