The Story

A monumental achievement in American whiskey! Solum Edition 1 is the very first nationally released American Single Malt to be peated entirely with locally sourced, Pacific Northwest peat from a bog in Washington state. Bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV), this inaugural release completely redefines the peated whiskey category. Instead of the heavy, medicinal iodine notes found in traditional Islay Scotch, Solum delivers a stunningly earthy, sweet, and botanical smoke profile that is utterly captivating.

NOSE

Earthy and aromatic with completely unique notes of sweet campfire smoke, roasted herbs, green apple, and damp moss.

PALATE

Rich, savory, and beautifully balanced. A rush of earthy, botanical peat smoke is perfectly softened by sweet vanilla bean, toasted malt, and dark chocolate.

FINISH

Long, deeply complex, and lingering with sweet smoke and earthy spice.
