To elevate the profile, Beam hand-selected a proprietary blend of five distinct toasted oak staves—High Toast, American Oak Double-Toast, Vanilla, Rickhouse, and Spice Rack—and introduced them into the barrels for a secondary finishing process. Bottled at a robust 100 proof (50% ABV), this innovative technique extracts incredible depths of sweet vanilla, toasted marshmallow, and complex wood spice, resulting in a premium bourbon that honors over 150 years of family distilling heritage.
NOSE
